Mumford And Sons Release New Single Rubber Band Man Featuring Hozier

Mumford and Sons have teamed up with Hozier for a new single, Rubber Band Man.
Recorded at Long Pond Studios in upstate New York with producer Aaron Dessner, who also worked with the band on their 2015 LP 'Wilder Mind', the folk-rock track blends the London group's rootsy sound and stomp with the Irish singer-songwriter's soulful baritone vocals.
Hozier previously collaborated with Mumford and Sons on a cover of The Beatles' A Little Help From My Friends during the band's headlinw appearance at Longitude Festival in 2017, and joined them again at Austin City Limits Festival in Texas in 2023.
Rubber Band Man marks Mumford and Sons' first new music since their new album, 'Rushmere', arrived in March. Since its release, the band have mostly been touring North America and are currently amid a fall arena leg, which continues with a performance in Austin, Texas tonight (October 24).
They'll cross the pond again this winter for a 22-date tour of Europe and the UK that wraps up with two London shows at The O2 on December 10 and 11. Support on select European dates will come from The Vaccines and The Barr Brothers, while the UK run will feature Sierra Ferrell.
They'll wrap up the year with a headline performance at Wild Horses Festival in San Diego on December 27. Next year, they're set to top the bill of Out Of The Blue Festival in Cancun, Mexico in January, and Innnings Festival in Tempe, Arizona in February. Tickets are on sale now.
Hozier released his latest album, 'Unreal Unearth', in 2023, followed by two companion releases last year, 'Unreal Unearth: Unaired' and 'Unreal Unearth: Unending'. In August, he headlined Reading andLeeds alongside Travis Scott, Chappell Roan and Bring Me The Horizon.
