Sammy Hagar will return to the UK next summer.
The former Van Halen frontman will perform with supergroup The Best Of All Worlds Band — legendary guitarist Joe Satriani, longtime Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and powerhouse drummer Kenny Aronoff — at Manchester's AO Arena, BP Pulse Live in Birmingham, Leeds' First Direct Bank Arena and The O2 in London between July 4 and 9.
Support will come from punk-rock icon Joan Jett and her band The Blackhearts, as well as opener JAYLER. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (October 31).
The shows will see Hagar performing Van Halen classics in the UK for the first time in 30 years. They also mark Jett's first time playing the UK in 15 years.
“I can’t wait to cross the Atlantic with the Best of All Worlds Band,” said Hagar. “Fans in the UK and Europe have waited a long time—and so have I!”
Earlier in October, the all-star band released 'Sammy Hagar & The Best Of All Worlds Band - The Residency (Live)'. It captures their recent Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM.
