Inhaler have shared a new single, Hole In The Ground.
Serving up an atmospheric sound with layered hazy guitars, propulsive drums and Eli Hewson's emotive vocals, the melancholic indie-rock track marks the Dublin band's first new music since the release of their third album, 'Open Wide', in February.
Recorded with producer Kid Harpoon at Abbey Road Studios, it's described by Hewson as, "a song that was born out of our stream of consciousness.
"Some time away from writing allowed us to go into the studio with a sort of blank slate which felt inspiring. It can be hard to talk about the meaning of your own songs sometimes but we see it as something fragile growing amongst a wreckage.
"Or that last blurry memory you have of a person. It’s sort of a meditation on hope and keeping yourself awake to life."
The song arrives ahead of the four-piece's sold-out performance at London's Royal Albert Hall on Friday (October 31), marking the end of their Open Wide Tour. They'll also headline the New Year Festival at Dublin Castle on December 31.
Inhaler Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Fri October 31 2025 - LONDON Royal Albert Hall
Wed December 31 2025 - DUBLIN Castle
