Deacon Blue have announced a series of outdoor shows in the UK for 2026, billed as The Great Western Road Trip Rolls On. Deacon Blue tickets go on general sale at 10am today.
The Scottish pop-rock band will kick things off in Gloucestershire, headlining Westonbirt Arboretum near Tetbury on June 25 as part of the Forest Live concert series. After that, they'll headline Live At Lincoln Castle the following day, and Southampton's Guildhall Square on June 27 as part of the Summer Sessions series.
The next month, they'll play a Summer Sessions gig at Bedford Park on July 2, followed by a Welsh show on July 4 as part of the Live At Llangollen Pavilion series, and Halifax on July 8 and 9 for Live At The Piece Hall.
The summer run continues with a show at Scarborough's Open Air Theatre on July 10, before they headline Edinburgh Castle on July 17.
Support on all dates, except Edinburgh, will come from Lightning Seeds.
Celebrating 40 years together, the group released their latest album, 'The Great Western Road', in March, following last year's acoustic LP 'Peace Will Come' and 2021's 'Riding On The Tide Of Love'. They recently wrapped up a UK and Ireland arena tour in support of the new record, ending with two hometown shows at Glasgow's OVO Hydro.
Next up, they'll play shows in Australia and New Zealand in January and February, marking their first Down Under since 2023. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
