Tigers Jaw have laid out plans for their seventh album.

The follow-up to 2021's 'I Won't Care How You Remember Me' is titled 'Lost On You' and will arrive on March 27 via Hopeless Records.

Produced and engineered by long-time collaborator Will Yip, whose credits include Turnstile and Movements, at his Studio 4 in Philadelphia, the record captures the Scranton band's raw energy of their live shows.

The five-piece have shared the album's lead single, Head Is Like a Sinking Stone, an indie-rock track that blends introspective lyrics with driving guitars and, according to vocalist-guitarist Ben Walsh, draws inspiration from a childhood dream. He explained:

"When I was a kid I had a strange recurring dream of jumping off the high dive at Nay Aug Park pool in Scranton, and after jumping in, time would just sort of freeze and I’d just be stuck there underwater.

"The premise was pretty terrifying but the visual of sunshine reflecting on the ripples of water from the perspective of being beneath the surface was always kind of hauntingly beautiful. The chorus lyric sprung from a recollection of that dream and the rest followed. It serves as a kind of reminder to myself that beauty can be found in unexpected situations."
