Nathan Evans and The Saint PHNX Band have shared a final early single ahead of the release of their debut collaborative album.
Written by Saint PHNX brothers Stevie and Al Jukes, Happy Place is dedicated to their late father and reflects on losing someone you love, finding moments of happiness amid grief. Evans commented:
"Happy Place is a song about hope and strength. Both Saint PHNX and I have lost a parent, and this song is our way of remembering them. It's a reminder that even in the hardest moments, there's always light at the end of the tunnel. The people we've lost would want us to be happy and to keep living life fully."
The vulnerable and emotional track offers another glimpse into 'Angels' Share', due out next Friday (January 16) via Universal, following earlier tracks The Wedding, Milarochy Bay, Cotton Eye Joe and Arabella.
Evans and The Saint PHNX Band will support the LP with their Angels' Share World Tour, beginning in the US in mid-February, before heading back to the UK and Europe in the spring, and Australia in October.
They'll also headline and curate the Heather On The Hill Festival at the Royal Highland Centre in August as part of the Edinburgh Summer Sessions. The family-friendly all-dayer features a handpicked line-up including Cian Ducrot, Ella Henderson, Skerryvore, Brooke Combe, and NATI, with more acts to be announced.
Prior to that, Evans and The Saint PHNX Band will join The Coral in supporting Amy Macdonald at her Halifax show on June 18 for the Live At The Piece Hall series. Tickets for all dates are on sale now.
