Two more headliners have been announced for the On The Mount at Wasing concert series near Reading this summer.
Scottish band Belle and Sebastian (pictured) will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their 1996 sophomore album, 'If You're Feeling Sinister', by performing it in full, plus a set of greatest hits, at the natural amphitheatre within the grounds of Wasing Estate on June 28. Support will come from special guests Saint Etienne.
Also announced today is BRIT Award-winning singer-songwriter Ben Howard, who will top the bill on July 3, joined by special guests This Is The Kit.
Pre-sale tickets for Belle and Sebastian and Ben Howard's shows go live via Ticketmaster at 10am on Thursday (February 5), ahead of general sale for both dates at 10am on Friday (February 6).
Headliners already confirmed for the On The Mount at Wasing series include MIKA, Pixies, Alabama Shakes, and Self Esteem. Tickets for their shows are on sale now.
Belle and Sebastian will celebrate three decades of their debut album 'Tigermilk', and its follow-up 'If You're Feeling Sinister', which were both released in '96, with a world tour that runs from February to June this year.
The seven-piece will play two nights per city across the UK and Europe in the spring, performing 'Tigermilk' on night one and 'If You're Feeling Sinister' on night two. The North American leg will run from mid-May to mid-June, followed by more UK dates in June, concluding with homecoming gigs at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Bandstand. Tickets are on sale now.
Their most recent albums came in the form of 2022's 'A Bit Of Previous' and 2023's 'Late Developers'.
Howard has also been confirmed to headline the Eden Sessions at the Eden Project in St Austell, Cornwall on July 10 with This Is The Kit. Tickets for that show go on general sale at 4pm on February 6.
He released his latest studio album and fifth overall, 'Is It?', in 2023. In 2024, he hit the road to celebrate 10 years of his chart-topping second album, 'I Forget Where We Were'.
