Biffy Clyro will return to Wales for a huge show this summer.
The Scottish rockers are the final headliners to be announced for the TK Maxx presents Depot Live at Cardiff Castle series and will top the bill on July 30, following supporting sets from Mercury Prize-winners English Teacher and Glaswegian punk outfit Humour.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am next Friday (February 13). £1 of every ticket sold will be donated to the LIVE Trust, in support of UK grassroots artists, venues and promoters. Nick Saunders from DEPOT Live said:
“Summer is going to be incredible. It’s our biggest year to date at the castle so it’s pretty special to be revealing Biffy Clyro as our final headline announcement.
“They are a huge act to add to the bill. It will be a brilliant night for music fans and one that will live long in the memory.
“And this is just one of 24 nights where we will see some of the biggest names in music head to Cardiff along with tens of thousands of fans so we cannot wait for summer to begin.”
This summer the Depot Live concert series will also host headliners Ethel Cain, Hollywood Vampires, Pete Tong, Billy Ocean, David Gray, Bowling For Soup and Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Katy Perry, Mika, Garbage and Skunk Anansie, The Streets, Jimmy Eat World, Self Esteem, McFly, Bastille, Empire Of The Sun, Chris Stussy, Sex Pistols, Richard Ashcroft, Sammy Virji, David Byrne, Two Door Cinema Club and Alter Bridge, with the latter headlining and curating their own Blackbird Festival.
The Depot In The Castle alldayer will also return on July 25, with The Wombats headlining and support from Sugababes, Red Rum Club, Ben Ellis, Afro Cluster, The Family Battenberg and Ian Davies. Tickets for the previously announced Depot Live shows and Depot In The Castle are on sale now.
Biffy recently announced the North American leg of their Futique Tour for the spring, which they're currently on the road with in Europe supporting their latest album, 2025's 'Futique'. The Australia and New Zealand leg will take place in April.
This summer will also see Biffy play their biggest headline show to date at London's Finsbury Park on July 3, the Royal Highland Showgrounds on August 21 as part of the Summer Sessions concert series, and festivals in the US, Europe and UK, including Kendal Calling and Rock En Seine.
