Stephen Wilson Jr. Plots Autumn UK And European Leg Of Gary The Torch Tour

Stephen Wilson Jr. will bring his Gary The Torch Tour to the UK and Europe this autumn.
The rising Indiana country artist will travel across the UK and Ireland between October 15 and 25, kicking things off at Belfast's SSE Arena, followed by an appearance at Sligo Live Festival and shows in Glasgow, London, Bristol and Manchester.
The European run will follow between October 27 and November 5, with stops confirmed in Paris, Zurich, Cologne, Utrecht, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo.
The North American leg of the tour started earlier this month and continues with a performance in Boston on Wednesday (March 18). It also includes several festival appearances, as well as dates supporting Dave Matthews Band at their Labor Day weekend residency at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington and Brandi Carlile at her newly announced three-night run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado in September.
Tickets for his new autumn UK and European dates go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (March 20), while the North American leg of the tour is on sale now. Tickets for Carlile's Red Rocks Amphitheatre shows also go on sale at 10am local time on Friday.
The tour's title comes from Wilson Jr.'s latest single, Gary, released last November. The track marked his first new material since his 2023 debut album 'Søn Of Dad', its 2025 deluxe edition, and last summer's 'Blankets' EP, which features covers of songs by Nirvana, Temple Of The Dog and The Smashing Pumpkins.
Along with the tour dates, Wilson has shared a Tim Cofield-directed video for Gary, starring award-winning actor Gary Sinise, best known for his roles in Forrest Gump and Apollo 13. Sinise said: "I heard Stephen’s song and loved it. Two weeks later he reached out to me to be in the video. He’s got a great team, a great song, and it was a blast to work with them all on the video. And you know….there aint a lotta boys named Gary these days."
The promo dropped yesterday (March 15), marking the anniversary of the death of a teenager named Gary, who helped inspire Wilson to write the song after seeing a roadside memorial in his name.
Wilson will also head to the UK and Ireland for previously scheduled performances at the inaugural State Fayre festival in Chelmsford and Dublin's Trinity Summer Series in late June. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
