The synth-driven pop track serves as the lead single from the K-Pop boyband's fifth studio album, 'ARIRANG', which is released today (March 20). The cinematic video, meanwhile, was directed by Tanu Muiño, shot in Lisbon, and stars American actress Lili Reinhart alongside RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook, who navigate a sailing ship.
The 14-track 'ARIRANG', named after a Korean folk song, marks their first studio album in over five years and features production from Diplo, Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, Mike WiLL Made-It, Flume, JPEGMAFIA and Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic. BTS will celebrate its release with BTS The Comeback Live | ARIRANG, a live performance which will be streamed globally on Netflix tomorrow (March 21) at 8pm KST (11am GMT/4am PST/7am ET).
All seven members of BTS reunited in 2025 after a hiatus that began in 2022, during which they enlisted in the South Korean military to fulfil mandatory service requirements. While on hiatus, various members explored solo projects.
They'll support the album with their 2026 BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG, which kicks off with US shows in Tampa, El Paso, Stanford and Las Vegas in April and May, followed by the UK and European leg in June and July, and a second North American leg in August and September.
Further shows in Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia are scheduled in November and December, followed by a visit to Sydney and Melbourne in Australia in February 2027 and shows in Hong Kong and the Philippines in March. Additional dates in Japan, the Middle East and beyond are to be confirmed in due course. Tickets are on sale now.
