The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced its inductees for the class of 2026.
Iron Maiden (pictured), Phil Collins, who was previously inducted in 2010 as a member of Genesis, Sade, Billy Idol, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Luther Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan were selected, with Shakira, Mariah Carey, Jeff Buckley, Ms. Lauryn Hill, P!nk, INXS, Melissa Etheridge, The Black Crowes and New Edition missing out.
Multi-hyphenate Queen Latifah, Cuban singer Celia Cruz, Nigerian musician Fela Kuti, rapper MC Lyte and country rocker Gram Parsons will recieve the Musical Influence Award, while songwriter Linda Creed and producers Arif Mardin, Jimmy Miller and Rick Rubin are inducted via the Musical Excellence Award.
More than 50 years after his passing, legendary television host Ed Sullivan will receive the Ahmet Ertegun non-performer Award.
Artists become eligible for inclusion in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first recording.
The 2026 induction ceremony is set for November 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and will debut on ABC and Disney+ in December. Head here for more details.
The class of 2025 included Cyndi Lauper, Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Outkast, Soundgarden and The White Stripes.
