Iron Maiden legend Nicko McBrain has announced a spoken word tour across Europe and the UK for later this year.
In support of his upcoming memoir Hello Boys And Girls!, out on October 22, the Iron Maiden legend will head across the continent from October 26 to November 15, followed by dates in Dublin, Birmingham, London, Cardiff, Bath, Manchester and Glasgow between November 18 and December 3.
Each show on the tour, billed as An Evening With Nicko McBrain, will see the celebrated drummer share stories from his personal life and career, including his years with Maiden, his early days as a musician, the challenges he's faced and lessons learned along the way. He said:
"It’s been a real honour to write my very own autobiography, and have the chance to walk down memory lane, revisiting all the experiences that have made me who I am and brought me to where I am today.
“And I’m thrilled and delighted to be taking those stories on the road and share them all with you. I feel truly blessed to be able to say Hello Boys And Girls to you all in person later this year.
“We’re going to have a lot of fun together, so come and join me for a great night out. I’ve got a LOT of stories I want to tell you all!"
Tickets for the UK and Ireland go on general sale at 10am on June 19. The shows in Germany go on sale on June 18, with all other European dates on sale June 16.
Brain stepped back from touring with the British heavy metal band in December 2024 after suffering a minor stroke in 2023 that left his right side partially paralysed.
Having recently earned a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, Iron Maiden are currently amid the European leg of their Run For Your Lives World Tour, which continues with a headline performance at Nova Rock in Austria tomorrow (June 13).
The 50th anniversary trek also includes a huge EDDFEST weekender at Knebworth Park on July 11, their only UK stop, with a supporting line-up featuring The Darkness, The Hu, Airbourne, and The Almighty. Tickets are on sale now.
Iron Maiden released their latest studio album, 'Senjutsu', in 2021.
