Yard Act Tease 'You're Gonna Need A Little Music' With Second Single New Beginnings

Yard Act have shared another track from their upcoming third album.
Delivering a restrained, stripped back sound, New Beginnings offers a further glimpse into 'You’re Gonna Need A Little Music', which finds the Mercury Prize-nominated Leeds band exploring darker and more cynical themes. Vocalist James Smith said:
"New Beginnings is a bit of light to counteract the dark we led with 'Redeemer'. Sometimes we've already shed our old skin without even realising it's happening. Celebrate the new, because you can't go back.”
The band introduced the follow-up to 2024's 'Where’s My Utopia?' last month, confirming its July 17 release via Island Records and sharing the lead single Redeemer. Head here for more details.
They'll support the new record with a UK in-store tour that kicks off during release week, alongside summer dates across Europe and North America, followed by a full UK and European tour in the autumn. Tickets are on sale now.
