Miley Cyrus has announced her 10th studio album.
The Grammy-winning American artist has taken to Instagram to reveal that 'Bass Persuades' will arrive on September 18. Sharing the album's cover art, she wrote:
"My tenth studio album, BASS PERSUADES, is yours September 18th. Music takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong.
"Heart full, heartache, every part of life in between. That’s what the title means to me. Thank you for being a part of making my wildest dreams come true. I sincerely hope you love this album. Miley"
The singer also dropped her surname from her caption and social media bios and is set to release the album simply as Miley.
The new 10-song project marks the beginning of a new chapter with Atlantic Records, following her last album, 2025's 'Something Beautiful', its expanded deluxe edition and companion pop-opera film, which was released under her former label, Sony Music's Columbia Records.
Alongside the album news, Miley has announced two performances at Los Angeles' Hollywood Bowl on October 16 and 18. Billed as Miley: Bass Persuades – Live at the Hollywood Bowl, the shows will feature support from Model/Actriz, who contribute to the track Different Religion on the new album. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on September 10.
In March, the powerhouse vocalist shared the single Younger You via Hollywood Records as part of the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special. Last December, she contributed the song Dream As One, a collaboration with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt, to the film Avatar: Fire and Ash. Neither will appear on the new record, though Wyatt does feature on the song Neon Signs.
