Talented, attractive, critically acclaimed, BRIT-nominated, topper of the 2009 BBC sound of music poll before her album was even released plus a criminally endearing name, Little Boots is carving a niche for herself into the music world. Little Boots’ (real name, Victoria Christina Hesketh; a friend gave her the nickname ‘Little Boots’ due to Hesketh’s little feet) debut album ‘Hands’ was released in June this year and nipped quickly to number 5 in the album charts, while the singles ‘New in Town’ and ‘Remedy got to the top 20 and top 10 respectively.
Unashamedly pop, Hesketh sites her influences as Britany Speares, Pink Floyd (ok, not pop, but you can hear them in there), the Human League and Miley Sirus. There’s also a hint of Kylie too if you ask me.
