Humungous events in the lives of the members of indie-rockers Reel Big Fish have left them permanently and irreversibly Ska’d. There are a lot of sick individuals who are happy at this news and will be following the band on their January 2010 tour so they can witness the ska-ing first hand. What’s the world coming to, eh? Click here for tickets.

A Reel Big Fish gig can guarantee you frenetic energy, crazy dancing, inspired covers and a world class horn. And not just the one horn, the entire horn section are horn legends. It might also give you a bit of an insight as to one of the places bands like Blink 182, Wheatus and No Doubt may have got some ideas from.

The new album ‘Fame, Fortune and Fornication’ was released earlier this year, featuring 10 new Reel Big Fish cover songs. Expect the tour to consist of classic RBF, covers from said album and possibly even a few tracks from their forthcoming original album due out this year.

Reel Big Fish are playing:

Jan 17 - Plymouth University
Jan 18 - O2 Academy Bristol
Jan 20 - O2 Academy Oxford
Jan 21 - LCR at University of East Anglia, Norwich
Jan 22 - Manchester University
Jan 24 - O2 Academy Newcastle
Jan 25 - O2 Academy Birmingham
