The Phonics have expanded their 2010 tour like a fat bloke happily releasing his few belt notches after a big, satisfying meal… actually, it’s nothing like that, because the bloke would have to somehow add London and Glasgow to his belt due to popular demand… unless he’s named the belt holes because so many people asked him to, but that’s getting a bit silly. Right, I’d like to be clear that the Stereophonics extra dates are nothing like a fat bloke in any way. Glad we got that cleared up. Click here for tickets.

More than ten years ago, the phonics landed on the scene with their album 'Word Gets Around', like a fat bloke dropped from a helicopter… or it would be if the fat bloke somehow made lots of superior, stadium-friendly music on the way down… and didn’t explode like a water bomb on impact... Damn it, I’m not having much luck with analogies today

Ok, they recently stormed Cardiff castle with a dazzling gig like a… like a… a horde of… no, a rampaging… an army of… Oh, I’m not going to bother. They were like the Stereophonics, uncannily so. Anyway, they have an eagerly anticipated new album ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’, set for release on November 16th, just in time for November the 17th.

The band will be performing their single ‘Innocent’ on Later with Jools Holland on the 27th and 30th October and are set to play the following dates, like the Stereophonics:

March 01 - Newcastle Arena
March 02 - Glasgow SECC
March 03 - Glasgow SECC
March 05 - Nottingham Arena
March 06 - Birmingham NIA
March 07 - Manchester MEN
March 09 - Sheffield Arena
March 10 - London O2 Arena
March 11 - London Wembley Arena
