David Walliams is a comedy actor, author and TV personality from Banstead, England.
Shooting to fame in 2003 after creating and starring in the BAFTA-winning sketch series Little Britain alongside Matt Lucas, who he met while studying at the University Of Bristol. The pair later co-created and starred in Come Fly With Me, with Walliams going on to appear in a number of other series, and eventually landing a role as a judge on Britain's Got Talent between 2012 and 2022. In 2017, he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to entertainment and charity. Also a massively successful author, his debut children’s novel, The Boy in the Dress, was published in 2008, followed by a string of bestsellers including Mr Stink, Billionaire Boy, Gangsta Granny and Awful Auntie, with The Ice Monster winning the British Book Awards Children's Book of the Year in 2019. He has sold over 50 million books worldwide, translated into more than 50 languages. David Walliams will discuss his life and career at three special An Evening With... shows in November 2025.
