Dodgy are an English power pop band from London, consisting of frontman Nigel Clark, drummer Mathew Priest and guitarist Andy Miller.
Formed in 1990, out of the ashes of Purple, the band released their debut album, ‘The Dodgy Album’, in 1993, followed by ‘Homegrown’, in 1994 but it was their third album, ‘Free Peace Sweet’, released in 1996, which gained them greater commercial success hitting #7 in the UK Albums Chart. Clark returned in 2007 and the band released ‘Stand Upright in a Cool Place’ in 2012.
