Ghostpoet is a stage name of British vocalist and musician Obaro Ejimiwe, from London.
Starting his musical career in 2009, he released his Mercury Prize-nominated debut album, ‘Peanut Butter Blues & Melancholy Jam’, in 2011, which was followed by ‘Some Say I So I Say Light’, in 2013 and ‘Shedding Skin’, in 2015. His most recent full-length effort came in the form of 2020's 'I Grow Tired But Dare Not Fall Asleep'. He has headlined many of his own shows and tours across the UK and has supported the likes of Metronomy and Jamie Woon. He has also appeared at festivals such as Glastonbury, Latitude, Bestival and The Secret Garden Party. Ghospoet has rescheduled his headline UK dates to spring 2021.
