Hard Life are an indie-pop band from Leicester.
Formed in 2017 as Easy Life, the band rapidly racked up a huge following with two mixtapes and headlining the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury in less than two years of being a band. They put out a third mixtape and two studio albums until, in 2023, they announced that they were being sued for copyright infringement by EasyGroup and, after a several days of extensive media coverage, the band eventually confirmed that they were unable to fight the legal battle and would lay Easy Life to rest. They eventually re-emerged as Hard Life, announcing that their third studio record 'Onion' would arrive in July 2025. Hard Life will head out on a UK tour in autumn 2025 to support the new record.
