Kevin Devine is an American indie rock and folk singer-songwriter and musician from Brooklyn, New York, best known as the frontman of Miracle of 86 and for his solo career.
Starting his music career in 1998, as a member of the band Miracle of 86, they released two albums, before disbanding. He released his debut solo album, ‘Circle Gets the Square’, in 2002 and eventually signed to Capitol Records, putting out his fourth album, ‘Put Your Ghost to Rest’, in 2006, but was dropped after a label merger. His latest and ninth album, ‘Instigator’, was released in October 2016. He has headlined his own shows and tours across the USA and UK, including having supported Brand New, Manchester Orchestra, Thrice and Nada Surf, as well as having played festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, The Bamboozle and Bonnaroo.
