King Princess—real name Mikaela Straus—is a singer-songwriter from Brooklyn, New York.

Having turned down an offer from a record label at just 11 years old, she continued to write and release music throughout her teens. Her big break, however, came in 2018, when Harry Styles tweeted a lyric from her track 1950, going to land support slots for the likes of Red Hot Chilli Peppers.

She dropped her debut album 'Cheap Queen' the following year, going on to drop her second, 'Hold On Baby', in 2022, with a third due to arrive in September 2025 in the shape of 'Girl Violence'.
