Manchester Folk Festival is an annual urban folk festival showcasing great folk music from England.

Over an autumn weekend, the festival presents an exhilarating range of events and acts in various venues in Manchester's City Centre, with the spotlight focused on English folk music. With roots firmly in the traditions of the past, and eyes on the future, Manchester Folk Festival will bring some of the biggest names in folk music and also introduce you to your new favourite artists.

Now in its second year, Manchester Folk Festival return to Manchester City Centre in October 2018, with This is The Kit, Billy Bragg, Beans On Toast, Skinny Lister, Will Varley, the Wilson Family, 9Bach, Alaw and many more on the line up.
