Money are an English alternative band from Manchester, consisting of Jamie Lee, Charlie Cocksedge, Billy Byron and Scott Beaman.
Formed in 2011, they quickly established themselves as one of the city’s most exciting new bands, selling out shows before they had released a single. They signed a deal with Bella Union, and put out their debut album ‘The Shadow of Heaven’ in August 2013. The follow up, ‘Suicide Songs’ was released in January 2016.
The band headed out on the road for two UK shows in November 2015, as well as a full UK tour in February 2016 and made an appearance at SXSW Festival.
Manchester band, Money, have announced a show at Sheffield’s Harley in May, and a Manchester show for April. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and ticket information on Stereoboard below.

Any band that calls an album ‘Suicide Songs’ is almost certainly setting themselves up for a fall – if not physically then artistically. It takes an extraordinary writer to powerfully convey one of the darkest corners of the human psyche.
