Simon McBride is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Belfast. Born in 1979, McBride is recognised as one of the best blues guitarists of the past few decades, having won Guitarist Magazine’s Young Guitarist of The Year award at age 15.
Performing with a number of different projects, from Sweet Savage to playing alongside Andrew Strong, before deciding to go it alone, McBride would go on to put out his debut solo album, a covers record called 'Rich Man Falling', in 2008. He soon started penning his own original material, with later albums, like 'Crossing The Line', consisting almost entirely of his own work.
