The Leisure Society is an English folk band from London, Brighton and Burton, currently consisting of Nick Hemming, Christian Hardy, Mike Siddell, Helen Whitaker, Sebastian Hankins, and Jon Cox.

Formed in 2006, the band released their debut album, 'The Sleeper', in 2009, which was followed by 2011's 'Into the Murky Water' and 2013's 'Alone Aboard the Ark’. The band released their latest album, 'The Fine Art Of Hanging On' in 2015.

The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK and Europe, and have supported Laura Marling, as well as having performed at festivals such as The Big Chill, the Green Man Festival and the End Of The Road Festival.
