Walter TV is a Canadian indie rock/weirdo pop band, consisting of Pierce McGarry on vocals and guitar, Joe McMurray on drums, and Simon Ankenman on bass. Walter TV used to be the home of Mac Demarco, who has no gone successfully solo. Pierce McGarry and Joe McMurray both perform in Mac DeMarco's live band, with DeMarco guitarists Andy White and Peter Sagar also having played in Walter TV in 2012.

Formed in 2010 in Vancouver, the ragtag crew soon moved to Montreal to live with DeMarco and other creative musicians, and managed to release their debut album, 'Appetite' in 2012. A busy touring schedule with DeMarco slowed down their writing process considerably, however they managed to work on Walter TV in their spare time.

After Sinderlyn Records reissued the album in 2014, they were able to release a second album, 'Blessed', a year later, which was written and recorded whilst on the road with Mac DeMarco. Their most recent material was 'Carpe Diem', which came out in 2017 and saw a more vibrant sound for the band.
