Way Out West Festival is an annual music festival held in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Starting in 2007, it hosts a wide variety of different music types, from hip hop and dance music to rock and alternative, and has taken home a number of awards over its first decade. Set at the massive Slottsskogen Park in the day, Way Out West then moves into the city's clubs after hours, switching from lush scenery to urban nightlife without losing any of the fun. Way Out West Festival will return to Gothenburg in August 2025, with headliners Charli XCX and Chappel Roan. There will also be performances from Kite, Iggy Pop, Queens Of The Stone Age, Fontaines D.C., Beth Gibbons, Yung Lean and Bladee, Khruangbin, Wet Leg, Montell Fish, Lola Young, Daniela Rathana, and more.
