Them Crooked Vultures Circle UK Skies
Imagine this, you’re carelessly glancing through the pages of a monthly music magazine, memorising gig dates, noting down the stand-out tracks from the newly released albums, catching up on the latest news from some of the planets biggest names in music. Then, without any kind of warning, it hits you. Something else catches your eye, something you need to read twice just to make sure. You scan it again to double check. It reads, “The next project that I’m trying to initiate involves me on drums. Josh Homme (Screaming Trees, Queens of the Stone Age, Eagles of Death Metal) on guitar, and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) playing bass. That’s the next album. That wouldn’t suck.”

AC/DC To Release Major Box Set
It has been announced that kings of rock AC/DC are to release a new major box set on November 10th….and what a Box set it will be!!
The collection, which will include CDs, DVDs, 164-page book, an LP and a stash of original memorabilia reproductions, will be titled “Backtracks” and in true AC/DC rock and roll style, even the box itself will double up as a working amplifier! That’s right you didn’t read it wrong, one watt of pure AC/DC stored in the ‘head’ of the box, makes this whole package one of the ultimate collectors items. Ok, so with one watt you may not be able to turn it quite up to ‘11’, but where else would you be able to PLAY the box set while LISTENING TO the box set!

Glastonbury Festival 2010 Sold Out in 12 Hours Non-Shocker
Yep, after an intense battle of phone calls and clicking the refresh button, it’s over. It only took 12 hours for every 2010 Glastonbury ticket to disappear from the virtual shelves. This is a marked improvement on 2009’s tickets, which took several weeks to sell out but then 2009 was such a success and the next festival is the 40th anniversary.
