Originally thought only to be a cruel rumour, like Cliff Richards’ gangsta recordings, but now known to be an undeniable fact, like Simon Cowell secretly being a blood-drinking lizard: legendary and sadly missed band Pavement have reformed and are performing again. It’s true, they’re headlining at All Tomorrow’s Parties on the 14th to the 16th of May 2010. Click here for All Tomorrows Parties tickets.

Fans everywhere are breathing heart-felt sighs of relief. Mark Ibold, Scott Kannberg, Stephen Malkmus, Bob Nastanovich and Steve West have finally got it together and will be touring in 2010. This includes not just performing but curating at May’s All Tomorrow’s Parties. Catch them while you can, it’s anyone’s guess how long the volatile band can hold it together for.

The ATP festival is a festival with a difference. Thrice yearly in Britain, the line up is chosen by a single, significant band (this one belonging to Pavement who ATP calls ‘arguably the most important American band of the nineties’). What that means is an unpredictable festival consisting of big names, influential artists and experimental lunatics from a variety of genres.

Tickets are available from 9am on Friday the 9th October. Click Here to Compare & Buy All Tomorrows Parties Tickets
