Influential alt-rockers Sonic Youth are to release a new compilation album entitled ‘Hits Are For Squares’ on 31st October. The album, which was previously only available through limited outlets, features 15 tracks from the band’s 30-year career as well as new track ‘Slow Revolution’. Each track was chosen by a well-known artist such as Radiohead, Beck, Beastie Boys’ Mike D, Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder.
