Corey Taylor: Slipknot To 'Possibly Play Some Shows' Next Year

From the massive success of playing huge shows with Stone Sour, to the release of the well-recieved 'Audio Secrecy', to the tragic loss of close friend and bandmate Paul Gray. It would be a massive understatement to say 2010 has been a rollercoaster year for Corey Taylor.
Since the shocking death of bassist Gray, there have only been a few words revealed by various band members as to what Slipknot are planning next. Everyone remains tight-lipped an at present plans to continue the band are still only tentative. However, that looks all about to change. Speaking to Rock Sound, Corey Taylor revealed that plans could be laid down soon for a Slipknot comeback in 2011.
"With Slipknot we’re talking about something but it’s not a new album or anything like that. It’s maybe possibly playing some shows. Once we figure that out we’ll let everybody know, but right now, my main priority is Stone Sour, so we’ll see what happens.”
Things look to be definitely moving in the right direction then. Could we have the announcement of a headline show at a UK festival next year perhaps?
