Bad Religion Announce London Date & Tickets

Legendary LA punk rockers Bad Religion have announced a one-off date at London’s HMV Forum on 10th July. The gig will follow their Main Stage slot at this year’s Sonisphere Festival the day before. These dates will mark the band’s first return to the UK since their headlining slots at last year’s Reading and Leeds festivals, where they performed on the events’ Lock Up Stage.

In 2010, Bad Religion released their fifteenth album ‘The Dissent of Man’ on the year of their 30th anniversary as a band. Although they have become known as one of the most influential punk rock groups on the scene, the peak of their success came after the release of their eighth album ‘Stranger Than Fiction’ in 1994. That year was notable for its revival of punk rock and also saw breakthrough releases from bands like Green Day (‘Dookie’), The Offspring (‘Smash’) and NOFX (‘Punk in Drublic’).

Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz is also well-known for being the founder and owner of Epitaph Records, who are currently home to bands like Weezer, The Blackout and Alkaline Trio. Rancid, Descendents and Motion City Soundtrack have all previously been signed to Epitaph.

Live Dates
9th July – Sonisphere Festival, Knebworth
10th July – London HMV Forum
