The Specials To Perform At Manchester's O2 Apollo In May 2013 - UK Tour To Be Announced Soon?

The most popular 2Tone band of the their generation, The Specials are set to announce a 2013 UK tour very soon. So far, just one date has been confirmed at Manchester's O2 Apollo for 15th May 2013.

Coventry's The Specials pioneered the new British ska sound of the late 1970s and early 1980s. They racked-up 7 consecutive UK Top Ten singles between 1979 and 1981 before breaking up. Reforming in 2008, original members Terry Hall, Neville Staple, Sir Horace Gentleman, Roddy Radiation, Lynval Golding and John Bradbury reunited to tour in celebration of the band's 30th Anniversary.

With a brand new 2013 UK tour announcement expected very soon, check back to Stereoboard for news on dates. In the meantime, a live date at Manchester's O2 Apollo has been announced for 15th May 2013.
