Glastonbury Festival Set To Bask In Sunshine

Friday, 21 June 2013 Written by Jon Stickler

Heading to next weekend's Glastonbury Festival? If so, it looks as though you could be basking in glorious sunshine according to the latest information revealed by meteorological reports.

Weather Outlook, Accuweather and Jackone at Netweather are all indicating that this year's Glasto, which is set to take place from June 26 to June 30 at Somerset's Worthy Farm, will be sunny, with daytime temperatures at a comfortable 19C

According to The Guardian, Jackone reports that a small amount of rain could fall on Thursday and Sunday, but "most (simulation) runs are positive".

Festival-goers are advised not to bin the wellies just yet however. Heavier rain is due to fall over the days preceding Glastonbury, so the ground may be a little cut up on arrival.
