Paloma Faith has confirmed a series of UK dates alongside the Guy Barker Orchestra.
The Symphonic Grace tour will see Faith performing orchestral arrangements of her own work as well as a series of jazz ballads alongside Barker's 42-piece orchestra.
Faith and Barker have collaborated on a number of occasions in the past, including on Jazz Voice and at Cheltenham Jazz Festival, and Faith is excited to put a new spin on her work. She said:
“I’m so excited to performing with Guy again and looking forward to putting a new spin on the songs with the new orchestral arrangements. A lot of people write songs because they want to record them in a studio, they want put their feelings out there. I don’t write songs for that reason, I write songs so I can perform them.”
The tour gets underway at Bristol's Colston Hall on October 22, with further dates announced in Coventry, London, Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Edinburgh and Gateshead, where the final show will take place at The Sage on October 30. Tickets are on sale now.
