Neil Young has cancelled the remaining dates on his European tour, including scheduled appearances at London's O2 Arena and the Liverpool Echo Arena.
Rolling Stone reports that the alt-rock legend was forced to scratch the remaining shows from the tour after Frank "Poncho" Sampedro, the guitarist of his band, Crazy Horse, suffered a fracture in his hand.
In a statement, Young said:
"Due to an accident involving Crazy Horse, the remaining dates on the Neil Young and Crazy Horse tour of Europe and the British isles have been cancelled. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes to our fans or the Festivals where we were scheduled to appear. As you must be, we too are disappointed at this unfortunate turn of events."
All ticket holders can secure a refund from their point of purchase.
