Thursday, 16 October 2014 Written by Huw Baines

Pixies are gearing up to release an expanded version of ‘Doolittle’ to celebrate the classic album’s 25th anniversary.

The set will arrive on December 1 and comprise the original record along with b-sides, the band’s Peel Sessions and a string of demos, with almost half of the tracks set to see a release for the first time.

The reissue will be spread over a three CD edition and a double LP. ‘Doolittle’, the band’s second album, was released by 4AD in 1989 and contains Debaser, Monkey Gone To Heaven and Here Comes Your Man.
