Skindred will headline Steelhouse festival in 2017.
The Newport metallers will top the bill on Saturday night, with Walsall rockers Stone Broken also confirmed to perform. Speaking about the booking, festival promoters Mikey Evans and Max Rhead said:
"We're really honoured to announce Skindred as our Saturday headliner. Anyone who has ever seen them live will have experienced the sheer force and presence of their performance - they truly bring it. This show will have the extra potency of this being a sort of homecoming. As a Welsh Rock festival we're truly buzzed to have a Welsh band headline the festival. We’re also delighted that Stone Broken will be joining the line-up – many more acts are still to be announced! After the success of last year's event we are delighted to be pulling the kind of acts that will really maintain our upward trajectory!"
Steelhouse festival returns to Hafod-Y-Dafal Farm in Ebbw Vale, South Wales between July 29 and 30. Early bird tickets are on sale now, while further acts are to be announced in the coming months.
Meanwhile, Skindred are currently on the road for the first leg of their Sound The Siren tour and play Wolverhampton's Wulfrun Hall tonight before additional stops in Bath, Exeter, Northampton, Cambridge and Oxford. The second leg of the trek kicks off early next year in Brighton.
