‘Cold Dark Place’ pulls together four unreleased tracks and is expected on September 22, with a 10” pressing to follow on October 27.
Three of its songs - the title track, North Side Star, and Blue Walsh - are lifted from the sessions for their 2014 LP ‘Once More ‘Round The Sun’, with Toe to Toes hailing from work on its 2016 follow up, ‘Emperor of Sand’.
Mastodon will tour the UK in December and recently released a video for Steambreather, which you can check out below.
