John Prine Posts New Track Knockin' On Your Screen Door

John Prine has posted a new track, Knockin' On Your Screen Door.
It will feature on ‘The Tree of Forgiveness’, the folk songwriter’s first album of original material since 2005’s ‘Fair & Square', which is due for release on April 13.
The new record was produced by Dave Cobb and features co-writes with the Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach, Pat McLaughlin, Roger Cook, Keith Sykes and Phil Spector, as well as collaborations with Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires.
Prior to his set at Cambridge Folk Festival on August 5, Prine will play headline shows in Glasgow on August 2 and Birmingham the following day. Tickets are on sale now, priced from £35 plus fees.
