The Wombats Pay Homage To The '90s With New Single Bee-Sting

The Wombats have shared a new single.
Bee-Sting is their first new offering since the release of their latest LP, 'Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life', which came out in February. It will be released as a limited edition 7” on November 9 backed with another new track called Oceans.
Both songs will also feature on an extended version of the new record, alongside an acoustic take on album track Lethal Combination. A release date for the updated version of the album has not yet been announced.
Frontman Matthew Murphy said:
"I think the song is again a bit of an homage to the ‘90s, a bit of a psychedelic nod to early Dandy Warhols, maybe. Our UK tour in March/April was probably my favourite tour ever, but it feels like this one is going to go off even more. Wembley is going to be a real moment for us!"

The trio have a headline tour in the diary for early 2019. Prior to this they will call at Lingfield Park Resort on September 1.
