Chvrches Announce 'The Hansa Session' EP Featuring Reworked 'Love Is Dead' Tracks

Chvrches have announced a new EP.
'The Hansa Session' consists of "reworked stripped back versions" of songs from their latest LP 'Love Is Dead', according to a statement on their social media accounts.
The collection was recorded at the legendary Hansa studio in Berlin, which hosted David Bowie as he shaped his Berlin trilogy, plus iconic albums with Iggy Pop, and later was the setting for LPs by Depeche Mode, Nick Cave and U2. Its string arrangements, meanwhile, were composed by Iain Cook and recorded at Bad Robot in Los Angeles.
The EP will be released digitally on November 16, with a limited edition 10" vinly release set to follow on December 14. It includes five tracks: Graffiti, Miracle, Get Out, Heaven/Hell and Really Gone.
The synth-pop trio will tour the UK and Ireland early next year, kicking off the run with a stop at London's Alexandra Palace on February 7 and concluding it with two nights at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on February 21 and 22. Tickets are on sale now.
