Noel Gallagher Announces Spring Date At Cardiff Castle

Noel Gallagher will perform within the grounds of Cardiff Castle next summer.

The former Oasis guitarist will be accompanied by his backing band, the High Flying Birds, in south Wales on May 24. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on December 7.

Gallagher and band released 'Who Built the Moon?' last year. Earlier this week, he confirmed a huge summer hometown show at Manchester's Heaton Park on June 7 (also on sale December 7). He also headlines next year's This Is Tomorrow festival in Newcastle.

Supporting him in Cardiff will be Gaz Coombes, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard and Boy Azooga, who recently claimed the Welsh Music Prize for their debut LP '1,2, Kung Fu!'.
