Big Boi And Travis Scott To Join Maroon 5 For Super Bowl Halftime Show

Monday, 14 January 2019 Written by Laura Johnson

Maroon 5 will perform at the Super Bowl halftime show on February 3.

The band, whose last record was 2017's 'Red Pill Blues', will be joined by Big Boi and Travis Scott at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. According to Billboard, Scott would only perform if the NFL made a joint donation with him to a social justice organisation. $500,000 was given to Dream Corps.

Last year the responsibility of the game's midway celebrations fell to Justin Timberlake, while other previous performers include Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Missy Elliott, Lenny Kravitz, Bruno Mars, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, the Who, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, and U2, among others.
