Bad Religion are back.

Led by the band's typically righteous, furiously-paced lead single Chaos From Within, the LA punk-rock legends will return with the politically-tinged 'Age of Unreason' via Epitaph Records on May 3.

Their 17th studio album overall was co-produced by Grammy-winner Carlos de la Garza and is billed as "a dire warning and testament to resilience ". Speaking about the record, co-songwriter and guitarist Brett Gurewitz said:

“The band has always stood for enlightenment values. Today, these values of truth, freedom, equality, tolerance, and science, are in real danger. This record is our response.”

Co-songwriter and lead singer Greg Graffin added:

"When I saw all these headlines about how terrible our world had become, I started doing a lot of reading. I read about the French revolution, the American Revolution, the Civil War, and I started to recognise that this is a pattern of history and something we should never venture into. There are ample warnings against it. Every school child should know this but it’s hard to get people to read about these things. Maybe this album can help. Because right now, with social media, we are just playing a version of kill the guy with the ball."

Bad Religion will accompany the album's release with a European tour, including a number of Punk In Drublic shows, which bring some of the most iconic and beloved punk bands under one roof. The run wraps up with appearances at the UK's Slam Dunk festivals in Leeds and Hafield.
