Judah And The Lion Announce New Album 'Pep Talks' And Accompanying World Tour

Judah and the Lion have announced a new album.
The Nashville trio will put out ‘Pep Talks’, the follow up 2016’s ‘Folk Hop N’Roll’, on May 3 through Caroline and their own label, Cletus The Van. It will feature their previously released Kacey Musgraves collaboration Pictures and a track with Jon Bellion.
The band will support the record with the Pep Talks Worldwide Tour, which will include dates in North American, Europe, the UK and Ireland. Tickets go on sale at 10am local time on March 8.

"The first verse is about me getting a call from my mom when she was in jail but I didn't know what to do or say. And, of course, right after I called my dad but he didn't answer and it felt like a very lonely moment. It was like, 'Oh, I'm in the world alone.' I imagined how hard it'd be to be a 13-year-old kid dealing with a divorce, because here I am, a 25-year-old, and it just rocked me.”
