Bleached To Release New Album 'Don't You Think You've Had Enough?' In July

Friday, 03 May 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Bleached have announced their next album.

'Don’t You Think You’ve Had Enough?' is out on July 12 via Dead Oceans and serves as Jessie and Jennifer Clavin's first LP written from a place of sobriety.

The Los Angeles punk duo worked with producer Shane Stoneback for the follow up to to 2016's 'Welcome the Worms' LP and 2017's 'Can You Deal?' EP, which will also feature the previously released track Shitty Ballet. The pair began writing the album in early 2018, as Jennifer explained:

"Writing these songs while sober became somewhat of a spiritual experience. I had to let go, trust the process, and allow an energy beyond my control to be present."

The announcement comes alongside the record's lead single, Hard To Kill, which Jennifer decribes as a song about, "staring down the road towards death and realizing I needed to wake up and get out of my selfish patterns of self-destruction."

Head below to view the track's accompanying video, directed by fellow sister duo Juliana and Nicky Giraffe, as well as the album's cover art and tracklist.

The pair will support the record with a North American headline tour, following dates supporting Refused this month. They also hit London before appearances at Reading and Leeds in August.
