Bullet From a Gun is the first taste of new material from the grime MC since the 'Vicious' EP in 2017, the follow up to his Mercury Prize-winning fourth LP, 2016's 'Konnichiwa’.
The song is also the first cut from his new album, ‘Ignorance Is Bliss’, which is due for release on May 31. Self-produced along with Ragz Originale, Bullet From A Gun takes on the typical grime traits of a heavy beat and bassline, and teams them with a high pitched synth pattern and Skepta's emotive bars.
"Fuck the police, tell them eat my dust,” he raps, as well as lines about touring, his baby daughter, his dating life and relationship with his father. Check it out below.
